Handled ascender CAMP, mod. TURBOHAND (2634)

Handled ascender CAMP, mod. TURBOHAND (2634)

Description

Available in left and right handed versions

The Turbohand uses proprietary technology and cutting-edge design to make climbing ropes safer, faster and easier.
It features a pulley. This not only helps with climbing efficiency by making the climb much smoother, but also reduces dangerous wear and tear where the rope tends to rub against the body of a traditional self-hold.
The ergonomic rubber handle is extended to the top of the spine to allow for a two-handed grip. The handle and rope are aligned in the same plane for best control and efficiency.
It features three large attachment points, two on the bottom and one on the top, for optimal organization.
The sturdy body is made of 3.5 mm aluminum alloy. The geometry has been tested for use on traverses.
The toothed cam is coated with a special anti-wear treatment and has drainage holes to prevent the accumulation of mud and grit. The opening system is protected on both sides to prevent accidental opening.
The patented pulley also allows the Turbohand to be mounted as a locking pulley for light pulling with a maximum load of 50 kg
NOTE: This configuration is not intended for pulling or securing objects.
A stainless steel rope guide (Turbohand Guide, sold separately) can be attached to the bottom of the handle to align the rope for long climbs.
Standards:
- EN 12841/B for semi-static ropes from 10 to 13 mm.
- EN 567 for semi-static and dynamic ropes from 8 to 13 mm.
