Rope Grab for temporary vertical lifeline CAMP, mod. GOBLIN (099901) + carabiner (1455)

Description

The Goblin Fall Arrest Device represents a monumental step forward in safety for workers who rely on fall arrest systems when working at height. For use on 10-11mm semi-static ropes.
The innovative ascender creates a perfectly smooth action on the rope, whether used for ascending or descending the line. Productivity can be further increased with the Rope Surfer device.
Impact on the rope is minimized thanks to a specially designed locking mechanism that halves the fall arrest force (the force transferred to the body in the event of a fall) compared to other devices and locks the rope along its long axis, rather than aggressively pinching it with a serrated brake pawl.
Switching to ascent mode is accomplished with a simple push of a button on the back of the device. A hot-forged stainless steel pawl and locking components are combined with a robust aluminum alloy housing for exceptional durability over time.
Standards:
- EN 12841A/B for use in rope access as a backup device for the lifeline or as a climbing device for the work line for workers up to 120 kg; can also be used for rope access rescue up to 200 kg;
- EN 353-2 for use as a fall arrester for workers up to 120 kg, with certified ropes;
- ANSI Z359.1 for use as a fall arrester for workers up to 136 kg / 300 lbs, certified with Lithium 11 mm rope with fixed end loops.
UPDATE 2023:
- EN 353-2 upgraded to 150 kg maximum weight for connections using a single carabiner without a webbing;
- PPE-R/11.075 certificate for horizontal/inclined use over an edge in combination with Iridium 10.5 mm (110 kg max) and Iridium 11 mm (120 kg max) ropes;
- Approved use of oval carabiners made of aluminum alloy in addition to steel.
