Descender CAMP, mod. WIZARD (3499)

Description

The Wizard is a lightweight, compact, self-locking descender for rope access and rescue.
It features a button that allows the thumb to be held open for easier rope insertion and remains connected to the user while it is open or while the rope is being inserted or removed.
It is equipped with an anti-panic function in the lever that re-engages the thumb and locks the rope if the handle is pulled too far, where this could lead to dangerous descent speeds. The lever automatically returns to the LOCK position when released.
The Wizard provides exceptional controllability with its proven internal mechanism and rigid lever made of strong hot-forged aluminum alloy.
The locking thumb uses an innovative design for smooth action on the rope, which prevents rapid wear and absorbs the energy of small impacts with slight rope slippage. The thumb can be deactivated with a trigger to allow rapid rope sliding in no-load or limited-load situations.
Equipped with NFC TRACK tag for digital identification.

- EN 12841/C as a descender for semi-static ropes from 10.5 to 11 mm and for workers up to 140 kg; can also be used for rope access rescue up to 200 kg.
- EN 341/2A as a single line emergency escape device for workers up to 120 kg, semi-static rope 11 mm (Iridium 11 mm).
- EN 15151-1 for climbing structures using mountaineering techniques with dynamic ropes from 8.9 to 11 mm.
